Meet Dr. Margie
Dr. Margaret Altman, a compassionate and experienced physician, was born and raised in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Sacred Heart Academy and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Louisville. After dedicating several years to social service, she returned to the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating with her medical degree in 1996.
Dr. Altman honed her skills during her internal medicine residency at prestigious institutions including the Louisville VA Medical Center, Jewish Hospital, Kosair Children’s Hospital, and the University of Louisville Hospital. She also gained valuable experience in urgent care and emergency medicine settings. Following her residency, she served as a Staff Physician for the Department of Defense at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
With a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Altman is passionate about providing comprehensive and personalized medical attention. She is dedicated to understanding her patients’ unique needs and empowering them to live healthier lives. She currently resides in Stuart, Florida, and is excited to bring her expertise to the local community. When she’s not practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her beloved dogs, Peanut and Dixie, who often join her at the office.
